Banga Rice is a delectable dish. Banga soup and rice are combined in this dish. In fact, you may create this meal using leftover Banga Soup or Ofe Akwu.
Banga rice should be very soft since it absorbs the flavours of the other ingredients; it should not be dry or mushy. Its creamy flavour comes from palm oil extract.
You may use Igbo Ofe Akwu spices and herbs or delta Banga soup. Also, add iru for a Yoruba version. The ideal palm fruit extract for this meal is freshly extracted, however, canned palm nut extract is handier.
