Omolade Collins, the creative mind behind 928 Apparels and Fashion Institute, has been making waves in the fashion industry for over three years.

With a deep passion for creating African-inspired designs that resonate with audiences worldwide, Omolade’s journey into the world of fashion reflects his commitment to blending creativity with functionality.

His brand, 928 Apparels, stands out for its innovative take on African fashion, bringing bold ideas and designs to life.

Omolade has excitedly released the Bungee Collection. This line represents a celebration of men’s expression, drawing on the fine art of African tailoring.

The collection explores the unique blend of tradition and modernity, offering a fresh perspective on menswear.

“With the Bungee Collection, the aim was to give men a voice through fashion, in ways that haven’t been explored before,”Omolade explains.

The Bungee Collection is the embodiment of modern elegance, carefully curated to bring sophistication to every man’s wardrobe.
With a keen eye for style and attention to detail, Omolade Collins has seamlessly fused comfort and class, resulting in a line of apparel that effortlessly transitions from day to night, from boardroom to social gatherings.

The outfits in the collection are modern, stylish traditional wears with contemporary twists.

One of the pieces is long tunic-style top and matching trousers. The shirt is a rich green colour, with long sleeves reaching just above the wrists. The highlight of the outfit is the geometric pattern in bold, contrasting colours (yellow, red, navy blue, and pink) placed on the lower part of the shirt and the breast pocket.

The design adds a vibrant and dynamic element to the look. The pants are tailored in a slim fit and match the green colour of the shirt, creating a coordinated and sleek appearance.
The black leather shoes with a designer logo complete the ensemble, adding a touch of class.

Whether you’re dressing up for a formal event, stepping into a casual affair, or simply seeking to elevate your everyday look, 928 Apparels’s Bungee Collection has you covered.

Omolade emphasizes the importance of sourcing locally made fabrics in his designs, using materials such as aso-oke and adire, which carry rich African histories and cultural significance.

This commitment to supporting local artisans and promoting African textiles gives his designs a distinct authenticity.

As for his future goals, sustainability is at the forefront. “Beyond creativity and functionality, sustainability has become an important element for the brand,” says Omolade. “Within the next two years, I aim to make our production processes more than 50% sustainable.”

Omolade Collins and 928 Apparels are on a mission to redefine African fashion for the global stage, and with his bold vision, the future looks bright for this rising designer.
