Pastor Nomthi taught us the simplicity of love and faith – Ibukun Awosika
Former chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Ltd, Ibukun Awosika has expressed sorrow over the passage of Pastor Nomthi Rosemary Odukoya, wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of Fountain of Life Church.
Awosika, in an Instagram post, noted that the deceased taught members of the church simplicity of love and faith by how she lived and loved, and was a true light of Pastor Odukoya’s life.
“Pastor Nomthi Simangele Rosemary Odukoya. May 30th 1974 to November 9th 2021. An Angel, mother, wife, sister, friend and above all a true child of God.
My heart is really heavy tonight, whilst there is so much we do not understand, yet we know that God is God. It was a real joy to know you Pastor Nomthi. You came into Fountain of Life Church and taught us the simplicity of love and faith by how you lived and loved. You were a true light in our pastor’s life. Thank you for teaching us to enjoy our lives. I know you will enjoy yours in heaven. It’s hard to imagine not seeing you smile one more time. See you in heaven!”
Pastor Nomthi passed on yesterday after battling with cancer for almost two years.
