Big Brother Naija reality show alumni, Tobi Bakre and Alex Asogwa have appealed to Nigerians to help save their friend, Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey, who is presently on life support.

Rico, 30, was announced to have been involved in a terrible car accident on Tuesday.

In separate posts on social media, Tobi and Alex, who were housemates alongside Rico in BBNaija Season 3, begged Nigerians to donate money to help safe his life, ad they cannot do it alone.

Alex wrote: “

Reposted from @alex_unusual Emergency 🚨!!!!
I wish I didn’t have to post this but my friend is in a critical condition and we are in need of your financial assistance and prayers.
I also wish I could give more information on his health but how can I when we are still waiting for the doctors and God to save this dear life or at least get a sign or response from Rico? 😭

Whatever you can do to support will be highly appreciated as he is on life support and fighting for his life. Please,
@ricoswavey_official needs our help 🙏🏽.

prayforricoswavey #savericoswavey”

Recall that Rico Swavey’s management gave an update on his health status when the handler of his social media page also released a video of the accident scene and captioned:

“Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support. While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers.

Signed: Management.”

Alex Unusual broke the sad news of his critical condition following his car accident on her Twitter page on Tuesday.

According to her, the accident occurred “hours ago”, adding that the doctors were trying to resuscitate Rico Swavey as of the time she left the hospital.
