Sheer Elegance
By – Josephine Agbonkhese
Sheers are back! Transparent dresses in lace, tulle and mesh are all over the place with our fashionistas making the most of it.

This fabric is not only light and luxurious; it can also add a timeless sophistication to your look.
Though, see-through dressing is a risky fashion choice that can either look amazing or tacky, but in reality, when done correctly, can look sexy (in a right way), chic and high fashion.
If you’ve decided to jump on the transparency train, here’s how to rock the sheer trend with elegance.
Consider Your Colours
When it comes to sheer outfits, there is an unwritten rule which stipulates that people should wear a see-through shirt with the same colour as whatever they have underneath such as a bra, bralette, or camisole. Always consider this for when you want to do sheer.
Add A Jacket
If it still feels too “naked” for you, adding a jacket or skinny trousers underneath your sheer dress can make a difference. It still appears sheer but you are more covered.
Pair With High Waist Pants Or Skirt
If you are not comfortable with your belly showing when we wear see-through attire, you should consider wearing a high-waisted pair of pants or a skirt. An added incentive to this is that, high waist gives your stomach area more support, and it’s less revealing.
Sheer Lace Leggings
Lace leggings are a great way to include the sheer trend to your wardrobe. Wear it under a long button down shirt and strap heels for a touch of class and femininity.
Wear It Over A Camisole
If you’re the kind of person who is not comfortable with showing off the bra they have on, then you should consider wearing a cami on top. This style will provide you with the right kind of body coverage that will make your sheers easy to wear in official or formal settings.
Skin cells renew themselves
According to experts, the process of skin cell mitosis mostly occurs between 11pm and midnight. Cell mitosis is the division of cells that happens in order to renew and repair skin. Whether you are awake or asleep, cells renew in the middle of the night; but the body repairs itself more effectively while asleep.
Rebalances hydration
When we sleep, our skin recovers moisture as the body’s hydration rebalances, while the excess water is generally processed for removal.
