Love it or hate it, black has become a staple colour in nearly every modern wardrobe.

An apparel option that literally gives off a classy, bold as well as an elegant vibe, the colour black has an incredibly wide range of symbolic meanings, including austerity, virtue, wealth, sophistication and eroticism, making it a perfect fit for a wide range of social events including the red carpet.

Easy to style and accessorise as it pairs perfectly with virtually every other hue, it is the colour of the moment too. So, why avoid it?  Feel powerful, striking and, in fact, a little rebellious in this easy-to-wear hue.

Look 1
A black dress featuring pearl embellishments is all the magic you need to steal the show at your next event.

Look 2
Grab all the attention. Feel heroic in black sheer lace dress featuring feather detailing.

Look 3
Chic details such as extra large ruffled balloon sleeves can take your black apparel option from conservative to flamboyance.

Look 4
Get a little risky in a corset wrap mesh mini dress in black. Style with gold strappy heels and statement earrings for a glam night out.

Look 5
Go bold and dark in a lapel-detail sheer lace dress with a sky-high slit.

Look 6

Opt for the seductive style with a midi black bodycon dress.
