Mr. Eazi sponsors Ghana football with N2.4 billion
The Ghana Premier League has announced that popular singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade better known as Mr. Eazi, will serve as the headline sponsor of the competition through his online gaming and sports betting business, Betpawa.head Ahead of the start of the 2022–2023 league on September 2, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the agreement at the official signing ceremony in Accra. The three-year contract is approximately $6 million, or roughly N2.4 billion, according to a post on the association’s website. Mr. Eazi, a Nigerian-born musician now living in Ghana, has made a name for himself in the country’s music industry. He is currently engaged to Temi Otedola, business mogul Femi Otedola’s daughter. -
