Metropolitan fashion show set to hold

Nigerian designers and models are once again, set to hit the runway as a new fashion show berths in Lagos. The maiden edition of the Metropolitan Fashion Show, a fusion of new fashion trends with entertainment, scheduled to hold this weekend at the Grandview Event Center, Magodo, is being organized by Nanaz Consult.
In a statement by the organisers, “The Metropolitan Fashion show is the first of its kind to celebrate the originality of a local fashion idea in our Metropolis, with the vision to conquer other cities; the Lagos Edition is birthed by the hunger to promote fashion culture amongst budding fashion designers around Lagos and its environs”
This event is expected to bring together, stakeholders in various segments of the entertainment and fashion industry across the African continent, to explore new trends in a rapidly changing landscape of the fashion world. To this end, International and local fashion experts, alongside young designers and fellow participants will have opportunities to exhibit their products and exchange ideas about the future of the Fashion industry in Africa and Nigeria as the host country.
The statement further added that the event will create “opportunity for the fashion ideas of young Africans to be showcased, appreciated and developed alongside renowned fashion designers’’.
