Girlfriends are distractions- Olumide Owuru, budding actor

By Rita Chioma,
Young, budding movie star cum singer, Olumide Oworu, also known as “Lumi_D” is all ready to take his career to the next level and he is not letting any distraction from the opposite sex come his way.
According to what he told Allure Vanguard, during the premiere of Broken in Lagos Cinema,  he is too busy to have time for such frivolity.
“For now, I’m just having fun with everything. Enjoying life after University, and the attention I’m getting from all corners. For now, no girlfriend, I’ll have one as soon as I find someone, who would make me cut off other distractions and commit to her 100 percent.
Right now, I’m trying to focus of being a better person. I’m trying to find myself and know the direction its about to take. As soon as I settle that, then find someone I can reason with on the same mental ideology and I feel she can help me achieve my goals and be better. On my part, I’ll also be willing to help her achieve the goals. Once, we understand each other. Then we both good to go.”
The graduate in Mass communication from Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria also talked about life as an only child.
“Being an only child, you learn to love yourself more. You’d learn to sort things by yourself. You have to learn to carry your own burdens and tackle circumstances alone. The only issue is that it took me a while to learn how to start sharing. Because, I didn’t have to share anything with anyone at home. Then at school, when I was told to share with someone, I didn’t understand that. I started giving out things and sharing my stuffs very late. It was cool after all,” he recalled.
