Rapper, Olamide joins #endsarsbrutality train

December 4,2017

By Rita Chioma,
Olamide is lending his voice to the #endsarsbrutality campaign that has overtaken social media for days now.
The #endsarsbrutality cries rose from different parts of the country where Nigerians are saying enough is enough, as they demand that the squad which was founded to put an end to robbery but seems to now have  citizens in it target sight be scrapped.
Olamide Baddo, has now spoken on the issue via his social media handle praying that God guides and protect the people from trouble.
Social media users have shared accounts where members of the Special Anti Robbery Squad have been acting worse than the criminals in the street, yet carrying guns and brutalising/killing people at will.
A Twitter user shared a post claiming that a young boy had just been shot in the head right in front of him.
Meanwhile,  petition to have SARS scrapped has been addressed to the national assembly.
The petition which was published by Segun Awosanya, has been signed by 10,195 people as Sunday morning.
As the signatures pile up, Nigerians on social media have continued to demand an end to SARS.
