The event which held last Sunday at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, brought together an assemblage of models, designers, and other stake holders who came to watch the show.

Contesting models walked the romp in different outfits from swim wear to casual jeans wear, to corporate pieces all crafted by designers; Otumemine, Angella Phillips, Sokoto by Fawenzo, Samuel Noon, Style Infidel Studios, and Larry O.

After an evening of entertaining catwalks by the top 10 finalists, judges; Bolajo Fawehinmi, Director of Few Model Management; Luis Domingo, Scouting and Development, IMG Models; and Adebayo Oke-Lawal, Creative Director of Orange Culture, pruned down to top five.

The anxiety which mounted amongst the top five; Favour, Mayowa, Dotain, Stacy and Morufat was cut short when the judges gave their final nod to the Ethiopian model, Dotain.

By her victory, in addition to other prizes, Dotain wins a modelling contract with the globally renowned IMG Models, as well as an opportunity to work with Next Models, Select Models, and Boss Models in their different locations – Paris, London, Spain, and New York.

Powered by Petrolex Group and hosted by ex beauty queen Idia Aisien, the show was spiced with musical breaks by Aramide and Skales.

Fews Next Face is a model scouting competition, aimed at identifying and providing a platform for aspiring young models to horn their skills, and sent out to bridge the prevalent lack of African models in the global industry.

The Fews Next Face Africa is a joint effort by Few Model Management and IMG Models Worldwide.
