Musician, Uriel Oputa is plus one today
Musician and actress, Uriel Ngozi Oputa is a year older today.
The ex-BBA housemate took to her Instagram page on Friday and wrote: “UU girl remember to always be thankful and not Shameful, God has never left your side, Continue to bring light and Love.
Continue to be prayerful
Continue to dream because this is the beginning, the best is yet to come
Happy birthday to me the Soul I’ve grown to love.”
Born and raised in the United Kingdom by her late father and mother, Uriel is the only girl in a family of five children (four boys and one girl).
She is closely related to Charly Boy as her late father was Justice Oputa’s blood brother. Her father who was a lawyer was a part of Oputa panel before his death.
A graduate of Creative writing from Bedfordshire University, she had a stint with a media house, SugarMedia in London, as a researcher before quitting to pursue a career in music.
She started recording in the UK straight after university and successfully created an Rnb album.
She moved to Nigeria where she worked with Dekumzy who produced her first solo Afrobeat track titled ‘Merry go Round’.
Uriel is a model and a big fan of tattoos as she has four of them.
She was a contestant on BET ‘Top Actor Africa Show’ which aired in 2016 but was the first Nigerian contestant to be evicted.
