Singer and entrepreneur, Wunmi Obe has revealed that she was the fat girl in baggy, lilac shirt and leggings who danced with singer, Blackky, in his 80s hit music video, Rosie.

She made the revelation while congratulating the singer who clocks 50 today.

She described Blackky as “my one-time paddy for jungle.”

“Famz loading.singe0…90…95…99%.. So y’all remember that hit song with the intro “Hi Rosie, can I have a dance?” Then her reply, “No ugly, who you talking to..?” That was me.?
The voices on all the back-up vocals? Yinka Davies, Esse Agesse & Me.?
“The fat girl in the baggy, lilac shirt and leggings doing my one-second waka-pass dance whom you’d probably never notice if you played back the ‘Rosie’ music video a gazillion times? Yeah, me.?
The one who would usually get to hear the next Blackky hit before it even hit the studios? You garrit – Me.?
“The voice on the hit jam singing, “Blackky, me have a bang belly..”? 100% Me.?
The fat girl in the swimsuit chasing him in the music video? Er, that wasn’t me.? So Let’s just say, dude be my one-time paddy for jungle. And today Edward, I celebrate your golden age. Wishing you many happy returns today and always. One lov”
