Veteran thespians, Olu and Joke Jacobs are now grandparents.

Their son, Soji and his wife, Boma have welcomed their daughter, and the baby has been named Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanaemi Abimbola.

Mummy J, as she is fondly called by colleagues shared how anxious she was when she heard that her daughter-in-law went into labour. She, however, thanked God for safe delivery, adding, that she can’t wait to hug them all.

“When you went into labour …my very own Blessing…my own Morounkeji..@mrsjacobs_jnr …I wasn’t expecting such anxiety!!! What!!! Maybe because we are oceans apart…but God …Merciful God…whose mercies are new every morning…whose Faithfulness is great indeed…made all things beautiful…and our Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanaemi Abimbola…has come…Soji @mrjacobs_jnr thank you for your incredible calmness? I can’t wait to hug you all.”

Boma, the new mum wrote: “My Heavenly Father has done it again. His Grace upon my life is inexplicable…the past couple of years has been phenomenal. Wow ? @mrjacobs_jnr I still can’t believe we are now responsible for another life?Thank you Lord for finding us worthy of this bundle of joy? @ajokesilva hello Grandma? @_olujacobs hello Grandpa ?@douglasddimkpa Hello JollyGrandpa? We are glad to change your status???Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanemi Abimbola Jacobs…The Lord bless, protect and keep you? The Grace that is resting upon Mummy and Daddy will extend to you…you will do exploit my Queen ?…I can go on and on?I love you?. Anyways, you all can call me mummy Dayo or Atarah ????”

The new father, Soji, also shared the good news on his Instagram page, when he wrote: “We are truly blessed??Our Daughter Oluwasoromidayo, Atarah, Owaneni, Abimbola has arrived. My Warrior @mrsjacobs_jnr delivered like the Hebrew women.✊??? @ajokesilva @_olujacobs The Jacobs Clan just got bigger. @douglasddimkpa power to the South
