Joke Silva remembers late sister on 57th birthday
Actress, Joke Silva has remembered her sister, Bisi, who would have turned 57 today.
In a post on her Instagram page, she expressed how much she missed Bisi, while also giving reports on how smoothly Bisi’s art gallery is still running.
“57 today on the other side of eternity. There has not been a week that has gone by that someone somewhere on some part of the planet is not celebrating you. Aburo you impacted? Iheanyi is working hard…and the board of CCA have been troopers.
“Trust you are having fun with all the famble”.and friends on that side. Struggling not to miss you.????#BisiSilva #BisiSilvaprojects #CCA.” She wrote.
Bisi Silva was the founder and artistic director of the Centre for Contemporary Art, Lagos (CCA, Lagos), which opened in December 2007. … She was also co-curator for the second Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, Greece, “Praxis: Art in Times of Uncertainty” in September 2009.
The celebrated contemporary African Art curator passed on in February.
