Actor, Van Vicker clocks 42!
Ghanaian actor, director, and movie producer, Joseph van Vicker, better known as Van Vicker, clocks 42 today.
He was born August 1, 1977, to a Ghanaian/Liberian mother and a Dutch father.
The father of three has been celebrating life on his special day.
He took to his Instagram page, posted a lovely picture of himself and wrote: “I woke up this morning thanking God for the simple things. Life can’t be complicated, one must take time out and simplify it to suit one. I turn 42, it is a blessing. Happy bday to all born on this day and all Leos. #stayeeasy and #Godbless #theyounggodfather.”
Before he began to feature in Nollywood movies, Van had worked as a radio and television presenter.
He later featured in the Ghanaian Television series, Suncity, where he played the character of LeRoy King, Jr, a fine arts student born in the U.S., who arrives at Suncity to complete his education.
Vicker transited and debuted in Nollywood in 2007 and became more popular when he starred in the movie, Beyonce, the movie that shot him to the limelight. He became a regular face in Nollywood and has acted alongside Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Johnson, Omotola Jalade, Majid Michel, Ramsey Nouah and Emeka Ike, Stephanie Okereke, Chika Ike, Jim Iyke and many more.
Van Vicker is the CEO of Sky + Orange Productions, a film production house and has been involved in the production and direction of movies, as well as scriptwriting.
