Funke Akindele-Bello clocks 42 today
Nigerian actress and producer, Funke Akindele-Bello is plus one today.
She clocks 42.
Popularly known as Jenifa, she took to her Instagram page to thank God for life and pray for herself.
She wrote: “It’s all about ME!!! Thank you Lord for another year!! It shall always be well with ME!! #happybirthday #funkeakindelebello.”
Her husband and father of her twin boys has also taken to the social media to celeberate and pray for her continued blessings and protection.
“Happy birthday @funkejenifaakindele God will continue to bless and protect you my love. I pray you never have a need ?? Your joy will never turn to sorrow. ?? you’re fortified with the protection of the Holy Spirit for the rest of your days. May your reign last forever ? My Queen ?Hip hip hip Hooray ? ”
Funke is the second of three children (two girls and one boy) of her parents.
She obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication from the former Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polythechnic, and got a Law degree from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba.
She starred in the sitcom I Need to Know from 1998 to 2002, and in 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
She plays the lead character in the show Jenifa’s Diary, for which she was named Best Actress in a Comedy at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. She has picked up o many other awards for her prowess in the industry afterwards.
Funke has over 100 movies to her credit as actress, writer, and producer.
