Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has been reminiscing on how her mum had to sell her Economy class ticket to pay her Primary 6 school fees, 20 years ago.

The 30-year-old who attended St. Savior British Primary School took to her Instagram, posted a picture of her and her mum at Trafalgar Square, London, UK, and added that London is more than just a City to her family.

And though that happened back then she is happy that they can fly business class today.

“London is more than just a City to my family, it marks a time in our lives (20yrs ago) when mum had to sell her Economy class ticket to pay my Primary 6 school fees.

“Today we Fly Business Class!🌠🌠✈✈ #Next Stop #amsterdam🇳🇱”
