Veteran actress, Joke Silva has been praising all front liners fighting to stem the spread of coronavirus, currently ravaging the world.

Specifically, she thanked the Commissioner for Health for Lagos prof. Akin Abayomi, and all health workers in Nigeria and across the globe for their labour of love.

In a post on Instagram, she apologised for the “short-sightedness in being so lackadaisical about our health sector thus putting you all even more at risk.” She prayed that when all these are over, the biggest budgets will go to healthcare and education.

She wrote: “@profakinabayomi Commissioner for Health for Lagos…. your credentials and pedigree are so intimidating. I bless God that you are with us at this time. I use you as a point of contact to appreciate ALL health workers in Lagos State…Nigeria…Africa…the world over. Thank you for your labour of love. For standing on the frontlines. Sorry for our short-sightedness in being so lackadaisical about our health sector thus putting you all even more at risk. By His grace when we come out of this…and we will…the biggest budgets will go to HEALTHCARE AND EDUCATION. God keep you …guide you..enable you. By the power of the Holy Spirit and Authority of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.🙏🏽 #TakeResponsibility #StayHome #StaySafe  –
