Stella Damasus’ daughter bags Columbia University scholarship
Angelica, daughter of actress and singer, Stella Damasus has graduated from high school, and her mother can’t hide her joy at the achievement.
Angelica did not only graduate, but she was also the valedictorian of the class of 2020. In addition, she got a scholarship to further her education at Columbia University.
Valedictorian is a United States academic title of success used in the for the student who delivers the closing statement at a graduation ceremony. The chosen valedictorian is traditionally the student with the highest ranking among their graduating class.
The proud mother shared a series of pictures of the graduate on social media with the caption: “My beautiful daughter @angelicatooni graduated high school today. I am such a proud mum right now. She didn’t only get a scholarship to @columbia she is also #valedictorian of the class of 2020. #classof2020 #columbiauniversity.”
Angelica has also been celebrating her achievement. She also posted her own pictures and wrote: “Its official!! I’m a high school graduate🎉🎉 I’m so proud to be graduating with the #classof2020 as the Valedictorian. It’s been a hell of a journey and I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life! #wemadeit 🎓”
