Kate Henshaw reiterates love for way Muslims bury the dead
Award-winning actress, Kate Henshaw has queried why people in the village like to put huge burial expenses burden on the family of the bereaved.
In a tweet on Wednesday, the Nollywood diva reiterated her love for the way Muslims bury the dead.
“Why do people in the village like to put a huge burden of burial expenses on the family of the bereaved? Is it not enough that they lost a loved one and are dealing with the grief?
I have said it and I repeat, I love the Muslim way.
Good morning o…
Ke ni nice day….”
In Islam, the dead are buried as soon as possible, usually not more than 24 hours after death. Muslims generally prefer to use a white cotton cloth to serve as the shroud.
