Pastor Bimbo Odukoya’s children celebrate her 60th posthumous birthday
If she were alive, Bimbo Odukoya, late wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, would have clocked 60 today.
Pastor Bimbo, as she was fondly called was a highly sought conference speaker, youth mentor, marriage counsellor, a woman of high moral standards and a role model to many.
She died as a result of the Sosoliso Airlines Flight crash on December 11, 2005.
Her children have taken to the social media to celebrate and pay glowing tributes to her memory. They also expressed how much they miss her company.
For Jimmy, her son, who is an actor and also a pastor, though his mum may be late, her legacy has not.
He wrote: “It’s your day Mum!! You would have turned 60 today but because Legacy never dies, I celebrate you today!! The gift of you keeps giving even till this day! The memory of the righteous is indeed blessed! I’m sure there is a big party in heaven today lol! Wish I could attend but I know you are in fantastic company 😊! We all miss you! Your Grandkids miss their “Heaven Grandma” Happy Birthday Mum!! Love you!! #legacy #legacyneverdies #Big60 #posthumousbirthday #September12 #PastorBimboOdukoya #proudson #missyou.
And for Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, her daughter, she is grateful the world got to experience “The Force” called Bimbo Odukoya!
“Today I celebrate you, Mummy! You would have been 60 if you were here with us Today, and I know you would have spent the whole day celebrating Jesus. I am grateful you were my mother, and I am thankful the world got to experience “The Force” called Bimbo Odukoya! Enjoy being in the presence of your Maker … miss you soooooo much.”
