Nuhu Ribadu’s daughter, Fatima, apologises for wedding dress
Newly married daughter of pioneer EFCC chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, Fatima Ribadu, has apologised for wearing a wedding dress which many described as anti-Islamic as it was said to have exposed too much flesh.
Fatima got married to Aliyu Atiku, son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at a well-attended wedding Fatia in Abuja on Saturday, October 3.
Fatima has however issued a statement where she explained that what was seen in the photo was actually an underdresss, which was mistaken for her flesh because of its brown colour. She added that the pictures were taken inside her home and were not meant for social media.
She then apologised for subjecting her private family to such scrutiny, adding that she has learnt from this episode, going forward.
