#EndSARS promoter, Modupe Odele finally picks up seized passport
EndSARS promoter and one of the members of the Feminist Coalition, Modupe ‘Moe’ Odele, has finally picked up her passport from theNigeria Immigration Service (NIS) office.
In an update tweet on Monday afternoon, Modupe said her passport has been handed back to her and has been told she can travel now.
”Passport now picked up. No issues. I’m told I can travel at any time. Thank you so much everyone for the help and concern” she tweeted.
Modele was stopped from traveling outside Nigeria on November 1. She was on her way to the Maldives for her birthday when Immigration officials stopped her at the airport and seized her passport. No reason was given, other than “you are under investigation,” according to her tweet.
