Popular event planner,  Funke Bucknor-Obruthe has shared a throwback picture of when she was called to bar, 20 years ago.

In an Instagram post, the graduate of University of Lagos and Nigerian Law School, Bwari, recounted how she had to ensure she passed her examinatiins despite having the feelings that studing law was not really for her.
She stated that looking back now, she is counting her blessings, her failures and failed relationships and she is thankful for they shaped her.

Here is her post
“It’s been 20 years post call.
I actually still can’t believe studied law at the university of Lagos and Nigerian law school Bwari and I passed .
Every single moment I was in unilag , I felt that law wasn’t for me and I cried every time I had to write an exam, but I was still determined to make my parents happy and be a graduate ……..
Law school, I had fun and made loads of new friends but I still cried lolllll , infact on the day of the last paper I fell ill and had to be given an injection , analgin to be precise ( I had typhoid ). To my greatest surprise, I made a 2.2 oh …….
I’m just grateful to God that I met some of my best friends on this journey.
I found God again in unilag and served in one of the most vibrant and spirit filled , dynamic and revolutionary fellowships Sovereign army fellowship )
I partied hard , rocked hard and danced hard.
I had my heart broken 😭 not once , not twice lolll , guess how many times .
I look back and I count blessings , my failures and my relationships and I’m thankful for they shaped me.law #legalpractionerturnedeventtrepreneur “
