Poised to rebrand modeling in Nigeria, the Professional Model Managers Association of Nigeria, PROMMAN, is set to bring together industry leaders and stakeholders of the Nigerian modeling industry in a first-of-its-kind webinar.

Themed ‘Repositioning The Modeling Industry In Nigeria’, the event, according to the President, PROMMAN/CEO, Bunor Models, Mr Frank Osodi, “will serve as an avenue to bring together the regulatory body and all credible stakeholders in the advertising, fashion and modeling business, to discuss critical issues affecting the industry, identify and explore possible solutions and work together to effect the much-needed change.”

Speakers and resource persons for the event include seasoned practitioners such as Dr Olalekan Fadolapo, Registrar/CEO, APCON; Steve Babaeko, President, AAAN, CEO/CON, X3MIDEAS; and Bunmi Adeniba, Acting President, ADVAN/Marketing Director, UNILEVER.

Others are Bisi Sowemimo, CEO, Show Model Academy; Jimi Owobo Ogunlaja, CEO, Jimisterio Catwalk Academy, as well as the President of PROMMAN.

The webinar, which will be hosted by top model, actor and TV personality, Uti Nwachukwu, is scheduled to hold on Sunday the 28th of February, 2021.

Speaking further, Osodi enjoined all models, model managers, designers, photographers,
advertisers, advertising agencies and every other key players desirous of positive changes in the industry to register and join the free-to-attend webinar via www.promman.com.ng and to participate actively.

“The world is changing and we need to rise to the challenge as we explore more innovative ways of doing business, better ways of working together as partners, and of upholding professionalism,” he enjoined.

“This is so that the industry will not only be accorded the respect it deserves, but that it will take its place of relevance among its contemporaries,” he added.
