A White Wedding is not a Christian Wedding -Reno Omokri
Lawyer and activist, Reno Omokri has contrary to many people’s belief, a white wedding is not a Christian wedding.
According to him in one of his nuggets, the Scripture does not say anything about how to have a wedding, adding that holding white wedding is a European cultural wedding.
Africans who have White Weddings and then traditional weddings are in reality having 2 traditional weddings, he explained.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote: “A White Wedding is not a Christian Wedding. There is nothing like a Christian or Jewish wedding. Scripture does not say anything about how to have a wedding. Weddings are entirely a family affair. Once your parents bless your wedding, God also blessed it. God is focused on your marriage life, not your wedding day. A White Wedding is a European cultural wedding. Africans who have White Weddings and then traditional weddings are in reality having 2 traditional weddings. Even Muslims now do it, complete with cake. Such is the cultural domination of Africa by Europe. Your African traditional wedding is sufficient!”
