Simple Homemade Lemonade
This lemonade is so good and refreshing. It’s so easy to make and you only need three ingredients. Sugar, water, and lemons.
Ingredients:
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Lemon juice – 1 cup
- Extra water – for topping
- Lemon slices – for serving
Procedure:
Step 1 – To make the sugar syrup, add one cup of sugar into a pot.
Step 2 – Add a cup of sugar. Stir, and boil until the sugar dissolves.
Step 3 – Turn off the heat and set it aside to cool completely.
Step 4 – Cut some lemons in half and juice them. To get more juice from your lemons, roll them on the counter a few times before cutting.
Step 5 – You need just enough to make 1 cup.
Step 6 – Pour the cooled sugar syrup into a pitcher. It’s important to use sugar syrup, else the sugar would sing to the bottom later.
Step 7 – Add the lemon juice.
Step 8 – Top with some water and mix to combine.
Step 9 – Add in a few lemon slices. Chill in the refrigerator or serve straight over ice cubes.
