Yul Edochie says running away from Nigeria is not the answer
Actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie has opined that there is no point running away from Nigeria, when we will all die, someday.
In an apparent reaction to Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor of the House on the Rock Church Lagos’ admonishment of members of his congregation to have to have an alternative plan for Nigeria, judging by the spate of incidences of civil unrest, attacks, and killings in country.
Yul noted that though no one wants to lose his life, running away (japa) is not the answer.
According to him, he will not run away from his fatherland. His ‘Plan B’ is ‘no leave, no transfer.’
He tweeted: “Jakpa is not the answer. Yes, no one wants to lose his life but truth is, we’ll all die someday, all of us. So what’s the point of running? I’m a man sent by God to liberate his people. I will not run from my fatherland. We must get it right. My plan B is ‘NO LEAVE NO TRANSFER’.”
