Presidency 2023: I will run because the people matter – Kingsley Moghalu
Kingsley Moghalu, a Nigerian political economist, lawyer, former United Nations official, and politician has declared his intention to run for president in 2023.
Moghalu who served as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, appointed by President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, from 2009 to 2014 made his intention known on Twitter. He said he will be contesting because people live daily today under the shadow of terrorists.
He tweeted, “2023: I will run because the people matter. There is no hope out of our troubles until Nigeria faces the leadership question and looks for capacity, competence, and a compassionate heart for the suffering poor.”
