Fire guts Synagogue Church after candlelight procession for Late Prophet T.B Joshua
On Monday, July 5, 2021, one hour after the candlelight procession for the church’s late founder, Prophet T.B Joshua, a fire broke out inside the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) headquarters.
The late TB Joshua’s wife, Evelyn Joshua, led the procession that began the burial ceremonies on Monday evening.
The fire started in the storeroom, which is part of the SCOAN complex.
The church acknowledged the event on Facebook, claiming that it was caused by an electrical problem that was swiftly resolved before authorities from the Lagos State Fire Services arrived.
