Days after cheating death, dancer, Kaffy loses dad
Professional dancer, Kafayat Shafau-Amen, popularly known as Kaffy, has lost her dad, barely hours after she revealed that she survived near-death experience after taking some drugs for an undisclosed ailment.
The 41-year-old took to her Instagram page to share the sad news where she wrote “💔 #RIP DAD 😞”.
The mother of two on Monday shared details of how she reacted to drugs she took that made her system inactive and she never realised she had.
“Lungs collapsing. Eyes changing colour. Belly swelling. Taking a breath feels like I was slipping into a dangerous sleep. But mercy said no,” she had written.
“Thank you God for another chance. A lot don’t make it through these avoidable deaths. I am not better than them, I am grateful for your mercy, not today Satan, said the lord.” She wrote on Instagram.
