Beauty benefits of drinking fresh milk daily

Milk is packed with essential nutrients that help improve health.

Cow’s milk is said to be the healthiest form of milk to consume. Cow’s milk is said to contain all the essential nutrients, proteins and fat content as that of human milk. It is enriched with components that help in developing the immune system in children and adults.

Outward beauty comes from inside the body. Most of the job milk does in the body is done from inside and then radiates to the outside that you are always worried about.

The following will give you reasons to drink at least one or two glasses of milk a day:

Low-fat milk or skim milk helps reduce weight. A glass of skimmed milk with some fruit is the best diet for weight loss. The lactic acid in milk, along with its other nutrients, gives our skin a healthy glow and prevents it from any environmental damage caused by toxins.

Drinking milk for stronger nails, teeth and hair
Milk is a good source of calcium. Calcium along with Vitamin D is good for healthy teeth and bones. The calcium also helps in nurturing and strengthening of finger nails. Milk is one of the best sources of the vital nutrients that help maintain strong and healthy Hair. According to research, cow’s milk contains the ideal mix of essential nutrients for beautiful healthy hair. The proteins and lipids in milk work to strengthen hair, while the calcium promotes hair growth and aids in preventing hair loss. Milk also contains other hair-friendly nutrients like Vitamins A, B6, and biotin and potassium all of which work together to keep hair soft and shiny.

Milk-calcium reduces PMS symptoms

A good percentage of women experience PMS (premenstrual syndrome). This is a syndrome that affects the way your skin looks and feels few days before having your menstrual period. For any woman, this is a serious matter. The calcium found in milk help reduce and clear such skin problems.

Note

While milk has nutritious values important for beauty and well-being, not everyone can take it regularly.

Those who are lactose intolerant for example would have a problem consuming milk regularly may have to drink mill sparingly.

Also, those who suffer from acne or are proned to acne might want to be careful with milk as there are some indications that milk contains hormones that can cause acne to act up.

Drinking milk in moderation is generally good.
