WEMABOD signs joint venture to build Super Mall, Ikoyi luxury apartments

WEMABOD Estates Limited has signed a partnership agreement with Median Infrastructure Development, to build a modern shopping mall in Surulere, Lagos.

The agreement between the companies, which was recently signed in Lagos will see the construction of a six-floor mall, with two entrance/exit points and delivery access.

To be known as The Super Mall, the building will be located along Akerele Street.

The car park has been sited to the front and side of the property to create an ambience of space.

Speaking at the signing of the agreement, MD/CEO Wemabod Limited, Oluyemi Ejidiran stated the project will assist, not only to increase the company’s revenue base but also ensure her take its place as one of the nation’s frontline development firms.

The event was witnessed by Chairman Board of directors Arch Owudunni Opayemi, Director; Prince Olu Adegboro.

Facilities expected on the ground include power, water and waste management functions.

Other facilities include co-working spaces, cinemas, gyms/Sports clubs, food courts (Restaurants and Eateries), rooftop lounges/clubs, fashion and electronic stores. The Super Mall will be completed before the end of 2023.

In a similar development, Wemabod Limited also embarked on groundbreaking for the Ikoyi Crescent project to be known as Address Homes WEMABOD Estate.

The ceremony, which took place at the construction site on Ikoyi Crescent last week, will be delivered by December 2022

The property comprises two non-contiguous plots of land located at the roundabout, which serves as the meeting point of Gerrard Road and Ikoyi Crescent, off Alfred Rewane (formerly Kingsway) Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. The apartments will be delivered by December 2022.

Address Homes consists of 18 units of luxury apartments, comprising ten units of four-bedroom terrace houses (each with one maid’s apartment); four units of five-bedroom (each with additional two maid’s apartments) semi-detached buildings and four units of five-bedroom (each also with additional two maid’s apartments) fully-detached buildings.
