IWD: Sanwo-Olu honours actress Mo Bimpe

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has honoured actress, Mo Bimpe, for her commitment to a more equal and equitable world.

She was listed among the top 100 women in Lagos from various sectors making impacts, breaking barriers and empowering fellow women in the state, as part of activities marking 2022 International Women’s Day.

The excited actress shared the letter of recognition on her Instagram page and expressed gratitude to the governor for the heartwarming recognition.

She then counselled young ladies not to stop pushing and breaking the bias! “The world is watching and they will definitely be celebrated.

“A big thanks to the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency @jidesanwoolu for this heartwarming recognition 🙏

Nothing excites me more than being recognized for what you do.

The Lagos State government @lagosstategovt named me among the Eko 100 Women on International Women’s Day and I’m grateful beyond words…

DEAR YOUNG WOMAN,

This is to tell you that the world is watching and you’ll definitely be celebrated, don’t stop pushing, don’t stop trying and please, don’t stop breaking the bias!
