How to dress as a Power Chic

Power dressing is all about dressing smart and dressing sharp. It gives women the confident boost that they need wether at the office or any formal occasion.

Whether youre actually a CEO, a senior staff, or you just want to give off boss vibes, you can look more authoritative by making a few smart choices when youre buying your clothes. Opt for versatile pieces in neutral colours that you can mix and match.

Stick to minimal accessories, and choose clothes that fit you well to look like you’re always in charge.

However, your power wardrobe doesnt have to be boring. Dont be afraid to experiment with different tones, colours, styles and patterns that exude class and are stylish too.

Here are some power-dressing tips to help you pull off the boss look easily and stylishly.

Fuss-free Hair and Makeup
Fuss-free hairstyles like a ponytail, braid, top knot, straight or wavy hair are the ideal boss look. When it comes to makeup, keep it natural and neutral. It is the best and on-the-go; but if you want to jazz it up, a fun lipstick should do the trick.

The classic pencil skirt
For a powered look, opt for black or light tan straight cut pencil skirt and stylish top. The colour choice can turn the game around. Complete the look with a structured bag and heels.

Structured Pieces
Shaped and structured pieces like this, incorporated in your look would give your outfit more of that sleek look..

A Power Suit
A good power suit can be even sexier than a dress. You can style it in so many ways: with corsets, or tank tops or buttoned-up with nothing underneath. Whatever you choose, you would look sexy and professional at the same time.

Well Fitted Dress
You can never go wrong with a dress that accentuates your curves and keeps your look professional. A well-fitted pencil dress in solid colours does this effortlessly. Pair with nude or black shoes and a cute handbag to finish the look.
