IWD: Natures Gentle Touch reaffirms commitment to empowering women

In line with the theme of the 2024 International Women’s Day, Recare Limited, makers of Natures Gentle Touch has reaffirmed its commitment to continued partnership with women in empowerment, and personal care.

Chijioke Anaele, Chief Executive Officer of the company made this declaration during an interactive forum with female students of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos in commemoration of the 2024 International Women’s Day (IWD).

The event was organised by Social Impact and Sustainable Development (ISISD) in partnership with the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ).

He noted that though Nigerian women face numerous challenges, including discrimination, violence, limited access to education and adequate healthcare, they have contributed significantly to the welfare of society and the country, hence there is a need for their voices to be heard and valued more.

While pledging the brand’s commitment to inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion for a better world, he stated further that this year’s theme ‘Inspire Inclusion’ aligns with Natures Gentle Touch brand initiative, which includes investing in, uplifting, and empowering women with skills and knowledge.

“We take pride as a beauty brand that has stood firm and taken bold steps to empower Nigerian and African women with the knowledge and style required to express themselves through their hair and personal lifestyles.

“Over the years, we at Natures Gentle Touch, the only hair solution specifically formulated for the Nigerian woman living in Nigeria using natural ingredients have been supporting women by creating unique products that provide solutions to their hair and scalp problems, to enable each woman to unleash her unique sense of style and individuality.

” As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we as a brand reaffirm our commitment to continued partnership with you, in the area of empowerment, and care as you inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we will forge a better world.”

He also emphasised the importance of sharing knowledge, supporting and encouraging others as individuals to foster intellectual discourse, and inspiring positive change for their gender.

The programme also featured career talks, health tips, and personal development sessions for participants around the IWD 2024 theme.

Participants were presented with Natures Gentle Touch products to enable them to take care of their hair.
