Embrace your natural hair, unleash your style – Recare CEO urges women

Chief Executive Officer Recare Limited, makers of Natures Gentle Touch hair care range, Mr Chijioke Anaele, has advised Nigerian women to unleash their style by embracing their natural hair.

Anaele gave this advice while addressing a group of women who paid a courtesy visit to the company’s hair institute at Ikeja, GRA, Lagos.

He observed that many women experience different hair challenges due to the use of hair products, many of which were not specifically designed to suit African hair. However, many are now able to overcome these challenges with the use of Natures Gentle Touch hair care range of products, and engaging in proper hair routine.

He said: “Before now, the inflow of imported products meant that hair products that were specifically designed to suit African hair were rarely available. Imported hair products, which became the available option, led to different hair and scalp problems like irritation, scalp burns, hair breakage, and discolouration.

“It was based on this need that Chika Ikenga, a chemist, set out to develop the right hair care products that would confirm the hair texture, weather, and diet of Africans.

“His innovation was based on formulations that blended natural ingredients which are known for their efficacy in hair care as used by Africans. Some of these natural ingredients include Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, and Castor Oil.

“With the use of the products, and by engaging in a proper hair routine, more women are overcoming these challenges.”

According to him, the brand is dedicated to providing solutions to different hair and scalp problems using rich natural ingredients. He further explained that Natures Gentle Touch has developed treatments for various problems such as dandruff, hair breakage, dry hair, weak and damaged hair, and slow hair growth.

Anaele concluded by saying: “We recognise the uniqueness of each individual. It is our mission to enable you to release your inner beauty through creativity and style while at the same time promoting your total wellness. We want them to feel self-assured in their inner sense of health and beauty.”
