Milolar unveils new store in Lagos

Beauty and lifestyle brand, Milolar, recently unveiled its newest store in Lagos.
Nestled in the heart of Magodo, the grand opening not only signified a significant stride in the expansion of the Milolar brand within the Nigerian market but also consolidated the seven-year-old brand’s status as a fast-growing one.

Third in its line of stores according to Damilola Otubanjo, CEO/Creative Director, Milolar, the newly-unveiled store whose lengths and breadths featured the display of a variety of exotic women’s ready-to-wear pieces including boubous, evening dresses and two-piece lounge wears, as well as unisex skincare, fragrance and hair care products, was specifically designed to provide convenience for women desiring elegance with no compromise on decency or health.
Speaking to Vanguard Allure moments after the official unveiling, an elated Otubanjo recounted her experience building an indigenous brand in Nigeria.
“It takes grit, blood and sweat, as well as dedication and passion. You must love what you do, be consistent and be willing to do it regardless. You must be willing to maintain your core, principles and values. Otherwise, the struggles and challenges of doing business in Nigeria, especially the challenge of finding the right people to work with, will drive you crazy,” she said passionately.
Otubanjo described the brand’s products as complimentary, each designed to collectively offer wholistic elegance.

The event was an intimate affair attended by specially guests, friends and family of the brand, and attendees had the opportunity to explore and shop the brand’s exquisite range of ready-to-wear and beauty products.
The atmosphere was lit with music, fun and laughter, and guests were treated to a delightful selection of cocktails, champagnes, and delectable finger foods, ensuring a memorable and indulgent experience.
