    After receiving criticism from disability advocates, American artist, Beyonce Knowles, has decided to take an ableist epithet out of her new album, Renaissance. After receiving stellar reviews for the Friday-released album, the 40-year-old musician received criticism over the weekend after listeners pointed out that the song “Heated” contained a disparaging slur. Beyoncé used the term “spazzin” in the song she co-wrote with Drake, which is offensive to those who have spastic cerebral palsy. An individual’s capacity to regulate their muscles, particularly those in their arms and legs, is damaged by this condition. Since the song’s debut, many people have criticized it on Twitter.     The Nigerian music icons who appeared on the Obama 2022 summer playlist are Tems, Burna Boy, Pheelz, and BNXN. Every year, former US president Barrack Obama publishes a list of the music from around the world that he enjoys the most. The 44th US president published his most recent song list for summer 2022 on Tuesday through a tweet. Tems’ “Vibe Out” is one of the best songs in this playlist.  On the list is also the Burna Boy song “Last Last,” which has gone viral. The international hit songs that made it onto the playlist includes “Finesse” by Pheelz and BNXN. The Nigerian artists on Obama’s summer 2022 playlist would be joining an expanding group of other superstars who had similarly made the cut in prior years. The singles “Iron Man” by Rema and “Anybody” by Burna Boy were included in the list for 2019. A tune from Wizkid’s album “Made In Lagos,” “Essence,” which features Tems, made the list in 2020.
