Heard expressed her dissatisfaction with the decision, calling it “a setback for women.” The actress’ attorneys said in a 43-page brief submitted to a Virginia court on Friday that the decision was based on faulty legal reasoning, the jury was not properly screened, and excessive damages were granted. Babatunde introduced Funke to his now-divorced wife Shade to help with publicity for AMEN estate in exchange for a discount on her own housing unit. Unfortunately, his marriage to Shade ended when he impregnanted Yinka Balogun, a UK-based woman. Regarding the division of their shared assets, both parties are currently in court. The union was Shade’s third and Babatunde’s second attempts at love. Funke, on the other hand, opted to support Shade rather than side with her relative and consistently cut off communication with Babatunde. It is claimed that Babatunde complained vehemently about Funke’s betrayal in spite of all he had done for her. -
