Reekado Banks finally got his SUV from HIP TV, 8 months after the award

Eight months after winning the Headies 2016 Next Rated award, Mavin Records artiste, Reekado Banks, has received the attached prize to the award – a car.
There was controversy after Reekado won the award over the more popular Lil Kesh at the award show earlier in the year. That issue led to an ugly Twitter battle between their label bosses Olamide and Don Jazzy.
However, both musicians have since settled their grouse and are now on friendlier terms.
Hip TV did not reveal why it took this for Reekado to get his car.
