Football Icon, Kanu Nwankwo loses mum

Legendary footballer, Kanu Nwankwo recently lost his mother, Mrs Susan Kanu Iheme in Owerri.
Although the cause of her death is yet to be revealed, this is not the best of times for the football icon.
It would be recalled that his mother has been instrumental to his success. She has also earned him the name, ”Papillo” and believed that one day he would make her proud. Well…Kanu’s Facebook fans have been posting condolence messages on his page. The former Arsenal striker is yet to make an official statement to this effect though.
