5 Types of bags every woman should have

By Patricia Uyeh,

A woman’s dressing is never complete without her handbag. A good handbag can serve several purposes and if properly maintained can last longer. Handbags are the perfect accessory.

They look nice, are easy to carry around and they hold all your valuables. It is a bit difficult to list out the brand of bags one must have in their closet, however there are certain bags that every girl should have so that no matter what’s going on, no matter what event/wedding/party springs up, you know you’re covered. They are;

1. A black handbag

Every woman needs that bag handbag that can fits into any occasion. With a black handbag, you do not need to bother about whether it matches your outfit. It goes with any dress.

2. A clutch

Sometimes carrying a bag over your shoulder might be burdensome so for simple events like wedding, a clutch would be the best alternative.

3. A bag with a pop of colour

Don’t we all need that one colourful bag that you might have to plan an entire outfit around? Fashion enables you to stand out and get away with mix-matching colours. A pop of colour handbag would transform your whole outfit.

4.The Oversizer

This handbag comes in handy for errands and weekend getaway. Imagine how much you can fit into your oversize bag on a shopping spree. Might end up being too heavy but it will save you from struggling with a lot of shopping bags and hey, you might as well save the planet while looking fashionable.

5.The Neutral

Just like the black bag, the neutral bag can go with a lot of outfits but will still look like you made an effort. Everyone can go with black but sometimes, neutral is the way to go.

Caveat: You don’t necessarily have to have all these bags on the list. Just stick to your budget. Ensure that whatever you have is stylish, fashionable and is who you are.
