Davidson Obennebo and Omoh Momoh have emerged winners of the 9th edition of Aquafina Elite Model Look 2016 Nigeria.

The event which took place at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, saw the top 20 winners strut the runway to slug it out for a chance to represent Nigeria at the International competition to be held later in China.

Like Steve Harvey who erroneously crowned Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner of Miss Universe 2015, before realising he had made a mistake with the real winner Miss Philippines, Pia. Alonzo Wurtzbach, head judge for the Elite Model Look, Norden also made a similar mistake when he announced Oma as winner and only realised his mistake after she was presented with a bouquet of flowers.

The mild drama not withstanding, the show was well attended and the designers, Grey, Ejiro Amos-Tafiri, Fashpa, Tokyo James, Orange Culture and Kamsi Tcharies gave life to the show with their creative designs.

The event was also spiced with musical performances from budding artists including winner of the 2014 edition, Victor Ndigwe.

Past winners of the International edition include,  Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, Gisele Bundchen, Sigrid Agren, Constance Jablonski, Mayowa Nicholas and Victor Ndigwe.
