Over the weekend, the happiness of a bride who was getting married at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) in Fagba, Lagos, was almost cut short when she was instructed by MFM church officials to cut off her ‘offending’ hair.

According to the social media user, who was the official photographer, Oluwatoin Gbela at the wedding, the bride had attached human hair weave to her natural hair but she wasn’t allowed to go further with the wedding until she cut off the entire thing, as well as wipe off her make up.

Mixed reactions have trailed the incident.
