FADAN Hosts IFC Officials

In a bid to help the production sector in Nigeria move forward, a team of financial experts from the International Funding Corporation (IFC), which represent the private sector at the World Bank, led by its head, Selaik Tanatar has been in Nigeria on a fact finding mission, looking into different sectors to see in what capacity the IPC can support businesses in an emerging markets.
The visit which has taken the team to various production sectors such as textile, fashion, food, appliances etc, was extended to the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN), where members led by its national president, Funmi Ajila, played host to the August visitors at the associations secretariat at the National Arts Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.
The meeting which was very enlightening for the members, not only addressed the challenges faced by them, it also plans to develop the private sector and make it investable.
Amongst those present at the meeting was Mrs Shade Fham, a founding member of the Association.
