You would recall that starboy, Wizkid had cancelled all concerts billed for December and January following his doctor’s order to take a break and regain his falling health.
However, the ”Ojuelegba” crooner is facing serious charges coming from Muwema Co advocates and solicitors for a breach of contract. They are accusing Wizkid of receiving $60,000 as performance fee for the Ugandan concerts he just cancelled because of his failing health.
Face TV, whose lawyers are Muwema co advocates and solicitor is claiming that Wizkid’s management agreed to the deal, only for them to incur extra expenses for booking flights and other logistics amounting to $300,000. They also claimed that tickets were sold to 25,000 people for the concert which was cancelled.
According to The Ugandan, Wizkid was billed to perform at Lugogo Cricket Oval on December 3 but failed to show up for the event due to his health issues.
