American rapper and ”Empire state of mind” hit maker, Jay Z turned 47-years-old on Sunday, December 4, 2016. The music mogul hosted his friends and family to a private dinner party at the Republique restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The guest list was star-studded and notably among them were former Destiny Child’s member and Beyounce’s bestie, Kelly Rowland with her husband, Tim Witherspoon. Also, Mother-in-law of Jay Z, Tina Knowles arrived the venue with her husband, Richard Larson.

Celebrity couple, Jay Z and Beyonce arrived the French restaurant secretly. They had wanted a private ceremony and tried to keep the evening under wraps as they had the Hollywood hot-spot completely covered in dark colored tarpaulin.
