Childless couple of 10 years welcome a set of quintuplets in Cross Rivers state

After ten years of childlessness, A Nigerian couple welcomed a set of quintuplets at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Cross River on Monday January 9th. This is the first of its kind in the history of Cross River
The father of the babies, Dr Edet expressed his happiness at having his own children. He also craved the support of well-meaning Nigerians and the state government to support him to be able to take good care of his babies.
Recounting on his experience, Dr Edet said:
“God is never late. I have waited on for 10 years for these children. We realised that God was going to bless us with something special when my wife had a scan after some months of the pregnancy. At that point, we knew she was carrying more than one baby in her womb.”
